Chipping
Service:
The Borough road crew provides a chipping service to residents who wish
to dispose of fallen trees and branches. This
work is scheduled in accordance with road crew availability and at a cost of
$75.00 per hour.
To schedule this service, please contact the Road Foreman, Jeff Marek, at
412-741-0203.
Real
Estate Signs:
By Borough ordinance, a permit is required for real estate signs.
The ordinance permits one (1) temporary, non-lighted real estate sign per
lot. The sign (not to exceed
one and one-half (1 ˝) square feet) is to be located on the lot being sold.
Prior to erecting a sign, an application form is to be completed along
with a permit fee of $100.00, which is payable at the time of application.
Forms are available at the Borough Office or by clicking on the
"Permits/Forms" button on our Home Page.
Litter:
Litter is a problem in the Borough.
Although the road crew is diligent about picking up roadside litter, this
task consumes valuable time which could be spent on other road protection and
maintenance services.
Accordingly, the Borough requests that all property owners voluntarily
“adopt” that portion of any road or street that abuts their property and use
their best efforts to keep it litter free.
Park
Permits:
A Park permit must be obtained from the Borough Office at (412) 741-5119 Ext 3 for the use of the
Borough Park if six (6) or more persons are in the group. A Park permit
application is available at the Borough Office or by clicking on the "Permits/Forms"
button on our home page.
