POLICE DEPARTMENT:

The Police Department provides quality police protection services twenty-four (24) hours a day.  These officers are highly trained. They are mandated to attend additional training annually, including CPR, AED, and First Aid training, as well as remaining qualified in the use of fire arms. 

The Police Department has two automobiles equipped with mobile radio systems that allow them to communicate with the Dispatch Office as well as with all surrounding communities. Each car is also equipped with an AED (Automatic Electronic Defibrillator).

The Borough continues to operate a twenty-four (24) hour emergency dispatch center.  Although 911 service is available, we encourage our residents to call 412-741-5111 for immediate Police response.
