Borough of Sewickley Heights

QUAKER VALLEY AMBULANCE AUTHORITY:

                The Quaker Valley Ambulance Authority (QVAA) provides service to the Borough residents.  Through the dedicated work of its Board of Directors, Borough residents were able to receive this service at no charge for the last ten years.  However, due to Medicare reimbursement requirements, a service fee of $6.00 per resident per year was activated in the last quarter of 2000, which is paid by the Borough.  Also, the Borough was fortunate in this same time period of ten years to have the QVAA contribute $1,000 to the Borough toward the purchase of an AED for police use.
